Backwash - Push-Pull Valves

PUSH-PULL VALVES

The push-pull valve is the simplest type of backwash valve and the easiest to operate and maintain.  Note that the valve operation is often opposite on sand versus DE filters on PacFab (Pentair) and several other filters.  On StaRite filters the filter mode is always down and backwash is always up.
