not filter the metallic ions out of the water, but rather helps to hold them in
solution.
Pools that use copper and/or silver ionization or mineral-based conditioning
systems put metal into the water on purpose. In a situation like this, the last
thing you want to do is filter out the metal that you are intentionally putting
into the water... it would cost you a fortune in sequestering agents and render
your mineral system virtually useless. That’s where The Ionizer Stuff comes
in... it puts a nice little “bubble” (yes, that’s the technical term) around the
metallic ions, which allows them to do what they are introduced to the pool to
do, however, it makes them much less likely to adhere to the finish of the pool
and create a visible stain.
Also, unlike traditional stain preventatives that should be added on a weekly
basis, The Ionizer Stuff needs to be added only once a month.
The main difference between The Ionizer Stuff and the other Jack’s Magic
stain preventatives is how they work... they all prevent staining, but The
Ionizer Stuff holds the metals in solution while the others actually filter them
