Heat your pool with no additional operating costs!
On a sunny day, use of solar panels can raise the water temperature by 10 to 20 degrees, sometimes more, increasing your opportunities
to use the pool earlier and later in the year than when it is unheated, especially when a solar blanket or cover is used. There
are several selections of varying quality and durability to choose from.
Solar heating panels captures free renewable energy from the sun to heat your pool, reduce your water heating
bill and reduce the amount of electricity you use. The sun's heat is transferred to the water as it flows through tubing on the
solar panels. A simple illustration of this concept is when a garden hose is left lying in the sun and warms the water passing
through it. The size and number of tubes on the solar panel, as well as the surface material, affect how well the sun's warmth
is captured and transferred to the water. The smaller the tubes, the slower the flow of water through them, which enables more
heat to be transferred to the water. If the number of tubes is increased, then more water can be heated by the sun.
