the HydroPump pumps less water, it is a great alternative where an
open faced impeller is needed. |

The Pac
Fab Hydropump is an excellent alternative to the older bronze pumps with
open faced impellers.
The
benefit of an open faced impeller is that it is much less likely to clog
up with grass or other debris that might otherwise clog a closed face
impeller pump.
As a
medium head pump, it is not capable of producing the high pressures of the
Pac Fab Challenger, but there are situations (like with some DE filter
installations) where less pressure is preferable. |

self-priming specialty pump features an open vane, clog-free impeller for
self-cleaning performance. The HYDROPUMP is rust- and corrosion-resistant and
designed for quiet operation. Full-rated models are available from 1/2 hp to 2
hp, and up-rated models from 3/4 hp to 2 hp. Wet end is warranted for three
years.
