Jandy has made it easy to tailor the perfect system for your
pool, from the simple to the most complex system.
POOLplaza has made it easy to select the right system for your
needs.
Step One:
Choose a Control System - The AquaLink
Personality Kit is
what determines the functionality of the system. Personality
Kits are available for every type of pool or spa configuration.
Each system controls the filter pump and heater plus a certain
number of auxiliary circuits. An auxiliary circuit can be used
to control additional features (pool sweep pump, booster pump,
lights, blowers, etc).
Step Two: Choose a Power Center - The AquaLink Power Center is a weather-resistant metal enclosure located near the equipment and in which the Control System is installed. The primary controls and power regulators for the equipment will be in the Power Center. When you purchase a Power Center, you get the metal case, 4 relays and transformer. The Main PCB and service control panel of the Control System will be installed in the Power Center as well. If your control system requires additional relays, they will come with the control system.
Step Three: Order Salt Water Cell Kit – All Jandy Control Systems are compatible with the AquaPure Salt Chlorine Generating Systems. Save money by combining the 2 systems . Click here for more information about salt systems and how they work.
Step Four: Order Control System User Interface – While your Jandy AquaLink system can be controlled from the Power Center box outdoors, there are a number of Interface Controllers that can be installed inside the house, including a new touch screen, or used as part of a wireless system that will allow the user to control the system from inside the home, the car, the office or wherever you like using the telephone or a PC connection. With PDA systems only, Step Four is not required.

wireless version which greatly simplifies installation and offers
another level of versatility. The solar circuit can be used to control an
additional auxiliary if you need one more (and if you do not need the solar control

Step Two - Power Center |
|
The Aqualink RS Power Center is an electrical panel that is installed at the equipment pad. It is what actually controls the equipment. When you purchase a load center, you get the metal case and 4 relays. If your control system requires additional relays, they will come with the control system. The Load Center houses the main circuit board and service control panel which comes with the control system.
|
Power Center |
|
The Aqualink RS Power Center comes in two models. The standard power center does not include breakers, the sub-panel power center includes a breaker panel. It comes with four 3 HP relays. If a system requires more relays, those additional relays come with the control system. |

Step Three - Salt Systems |
Jandy AquaPure Salt Water Systems can be purchased and installed either as part of an equipment control system or as a separate, stand-alone chlorinating system. As with all the Jandy systems, a power center is needed (Step Two). To combine an equipment control system with the salt water chlorinating system, Select a PureLink Power Center (6613AP or 6614AP-L). To purchase a stand-alone salt water chlorinating system without equipment controls, select the APUREM Power Center.
