Goldline Controls has developed the most popular salt system in the US
today. As a result, they also have the most extensive service and
warranty network.
The AquaRite system currently holds 65% share of US saltwater
chlorination system market.
Goldline produces the AquaRite system for inground pools up to
40,000 gallons and the AquaTrol system for above ground pools up to 18,000
gallons.

What
makes the Goldline AquaRite system unique?
1.
Digital Salt Readout
The AquaRite
system has a digital salt readout on the control panel. This helps to
give the pool owner a more accurate idea of the salt level than a simple
dummy light like most of the other systems have.
One word of caution about the digital salt
readout. f the cell gets scaled up or fails for some reason, it can
give a false low salt reading, even if the salt level is OK. Suppose
you add a bunch of salt to the pool (thinking the salt level is low when it
is actually OK). What happens? Yup . . . now you have a salt
level that is way to high and now you have to drain the pool down. So
while the digital readout is a nice feature, we always recommend checking the
salt level with a separate test kit before adding salt.
2.
Aqua-Logic Interface - Salt Chlorination PLUS Electronic
Controls at a Super Price
The AquaRite
system is designed to interface with their own Aqua-Logic
control systems. The beauty of the Aqua-Logic
systems is that you can add a salt cell to any system
and have salt chlorination at a much lower price than if
you were to have ti install a stand alone salt
system. See our controls section for more
information.
How does the AquaRite system work?
|
|
|
The System
The system creates a
small amount of chlorine in the pool from the mild salt
level that is in the pool. When the chlorine is
used, it turns back into salt, ready to turn into chlorine
again.
The cell reverses its electrical polarity
periodically to eliminate any scale buildup. |

|
|
The Control Panel
The control box provides key information about
the operation of the unit. This allows the homeowner
to know exactly what his happening with his salt system. |

Converting a Pool
to Salt
1. Install the
System
2. Raise Salt
to 3000 ppm
3. Let the
system do the work |

|
The AquaRite
system uses a flow switch to keep the salt system
off when there is not enough flow in the
piping.
